Residents Reminded To Remain Vigilant

While local law enforcement officials aren’t ready to call it a huge problem, a recent uptick in burglaries and thefts have them urging the public to be more vigilant.

Most of the problems for Sidney Police Department are reports of thefts from storage units. The PD has also recently been investigating a break in at a car wash and a convenience store. At the car wash, there was substantial property damage as those involved broke into the building and took an unknown amount of change from a machine. The convenience store also sustained damage as the thief or thieves took mostly cigarettes...
