    The Sidney High School speech team finished fourth out of eight schools at the Class B-6 Speech Contest held Monday at Gering High School. The district champion was Gering with 386 points, while the runner-up was Gothenburg with 358 points. Third place went to Ogallala with 330 points, Sidney was fourth with 216 points, and McCook was fifth with 159 points.
