The council entered an executive session for 20 minutes to consider the proposal from Longhorn Investments to purchase Lot 1A in the southwest corner of the park.     Melba L. Beck, 93 of Centennial, Colo., passed away on Friday, March 20 in her home in Holly Creek Retirement Community in Centennial. She was born in Sidney and moved to the Kansas City area with her family in 1965. She was a long-time member of Valley View United Methodist Church in Overland Park, Kan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Beck.
