    The Sidney boys track team showed strength across the board on their way a convincing win in the Red Raider Invitational Track Meet on Saturday at Weymouth Field. With mostly sunny skies and temperatures nearing 70 degrees, the setting was ideal for what was the opening outdoor meet of the 2014 season.     With fifth-place on the leaderboard, the young Sidney boys golf team opened their season to mixed results at the cool and windy River's Edge Golf Club in North Platte on Friday.
