  • Woman who allegedly pulled knife on officer is arraigned

    A woman who allegedly pulled a knife on a Sidney Police officer last month was arraigned in Cheyenne County District Court on Wednesday morning. District Court Judge Derek Weimer told Barbara Nettles she was being arraigned on a single charge of assault in the third degree, a class one misdemeanor. If convicted, the maximum penalty is 1 year in prison and a potential fine of $1,000.     The Tri-State Dirt Riders Motocross will kick off its 2015 race season with a race in Mitchell, Neb., on May 3. The TSDR circuit has scheduled 11 races at tracks in Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska this year. TSDR has classes for every level and age – from beginner all the way up to pro riders – with divisions for motorcycle, quads and women riders.
