    Fourth grade students from around the area learned all about groundwater last Friday, when the South Platte Natural Recourse District (SPNRD) held its annual Groundwater Festival in Sidney.The Groundwater festival is an event the SPNRD holds every year, Administrative Manager, Don Davis, said.     Sidney’s Red Raider boys track team scored in all 17 events Monday on the way to the 2017 Western Conference track title. The Raiders got first place points in five events, two relays and three individual. Jon Smith broke the tape first in the 300 meter hurdles with a 41.71 second performance.
