    The case against a Lodgepole woman arrested in May on charges of cultivating and possessing marijuana and mushrooms was bound over to the Cheyenne County District Court this week. Mylissa Pennington appeared before County Court Judge Randin Roland on Friday for a preliminary hearing. After listening to arguments from Deputy County Attorney Jon Stellar and Pennington’s court-appointed counsel – Sidney lawyer Steven Elmshaeuser – Roland ruled there was enough evidence to continue the proceedings against the defendant.     Parents and guardians of home-schooled students with disabilities who live within Sidney Public School District boundaries are invited to attend a meeting next week to discuss special education services. The meeting will take place on Monday, June 8 at 5:15 p.m. at the district administration office, before the monthly school board meeting.     Beginning tonight, there are three major high-school all-star sports events on tap for this weekend involving several area athletes. Each event selects outstanding 2015 graduates of Nebraska high schools to participate. First up is the Mid-Plains Area All-Star games that will be held at the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium in North Platte on Friday evening.
