    Sidney Police Chief B.J. Wilkinson wrote an email in the spring of 2014 that said he was asked to keep a citation written to a city employee "off the radar in County Court and the newspaper." The email was part of a document recently unsealed by the Cheyenne County Court that was obtained through a search warrant. The warrant, requested by investigator Sgt.     Sidney City Councilors met Thursday evening for the second of two budget workshops held this week. In preparation of finalizing the upcoming fiscal year’s budget, councilors met with department heads to discuss potential expenditures and revenue sources.     Roland F. Musil, 93, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on July 26, 2015 in Seguin, TX. Rol was born in Dodge, Neb. on May 3, 1922 to Adella (Mlnarik) and Joseph Musil. He was the youngest son of four siblings: Millard, Lumir and Norma who all precede him in death. Rol's beloved wife, Betty, died in February 2008. Roland attended Potter Public School (Nebraska) until the 8th grade. He began farming north of Potter raising wheat, corn, pinto beans and millet.... Full story
