    The Sidney City Council reviewed the City's fee schedules during the Aug. 13 city council meeting. Finance Director David Scott said in the resolution that the council approved an ordinance in 2018 creating a fee schedule containing all of the fees. Prior to that, each department's fees were reviewed and approved individually, “at random,” according to Scott. The fee schedule reviewed included actual fees to be charged from that point forward.     The City of Sidney will be closed on Monday, September 2, in observance of Labor Day. All City Departments will be closed including the Landfill and the Library.
