    Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in Nebraska, according to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). The organization’s figures, based on 2016 data from the Centers for Disease Control, indicates four times as many people die in Nebraska by suicide than by homicide. Suicide is reported as the second leading cause of death for people between the ages of 15 and 34, fourth leading cause of death for people ages 35 to 54, 8th leading cause of death for people ages 65 and older.     Leyton High School football player Drew Haley continues to recuperate from an injury he sustained at the Leyton season opener Aug. 30. In the first quarter of that game, Haley went high to catch a pass, but when he came down his knee was severely injured, the injury cutting off blood flow to his lower leg.     The Sidney School Board Monday night approved the 2018-2019 budget. The budget summary shows an increase from 2016-2017 with all funds totaling about $17.3 million.
