    Two men face felony charges after approximately 150 to 200 pounds of marijuana were recovered in the trunk of one of the vehicles on a semi-truck car hauler that was on fire on Interstate 80, Tuesday night.     Western Nebraska Community College (WNCC) received a donation of $25,000 from Wheat Belt Public Power District Thursday at Wheat Belt's headquarters north of Sidney. The gift will support the Powerline Construction and Maintenance Technology program at WNCC's Alliance campus.     Sidney's Lady Raiders came up short against district rival Alliance in play Thursday, but Sidney Coach Sarah Wilson said the experience wasn't all bad.     Sidney placed multiple runners in the top 20 in both boys and girls varsity competition to finish high in both boys and girls team standings at the McCook Invite Thursday.     Sidney’s girls golf team finished in third behind twin city rivals Scottsbluff and Gering this week at the Gering Invitational. Scottsbluff continued its place at the top of the girls golf ranks, scoring a team 368 to take the team title. Gering nipped at Scottsbluff’s heals with a 372, followed by Sidney’s 391.
