    The Nebraska Supreme Court upheld multiple convictions for a 2012 murder in Sidney. The court on Friday upheld first-degree murder and weapons convictions and the life sentence of Jason Custer, who in March 2014 was convicted in Cheyenne County District Court for the killing of Adam McCormick in November 2012. Prosecutors say Custer shot McCormick at a Sidney house after the two men argued over $160 in drug money.     There is sufficient probable cause to continue a criminal court case against a Sidney woman alleged to have participated in a string of burglaries throughout Cheyenne County, a judge ruled this week. Mindy Richmond, 34, was arrested in June after another woman, Tanya Yates, approached the Sidney Police Department and told authorities Richmond had broken into more than 100 homes to steal prescription medication, cash and designer clothing.     Sidney High School’s Sidney Singers had a strong showing at the Old West Choir Fest earlier this month in Scottsbluff. The Sidney Singers took first place in their division and received a gold rating for their afternoon performance, qualifying them for the “Best of the Fest” portion where they received fourth behind three schools from Aurora, Colo.     A boil order notice has been issued for the Village of Dalton's public water supply. Jeff Juelfs, the community's utility supervisor, said the notice was issued Thursday after tests showed the presence of E. coli in the town's public drinking water. According to the notice, water must be boiled for one minute before being consumed.     Matthew M. Lenzen, 62, a Sidney native, died Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, in Lincoln. Matt resided in Broomfield, Colo., and was a dispatcher for Denver Intermodal Express. Matt's passing followed just 10 days after the death of his father, Jerome Lenzen of Sidney. Matt was born Jan. 13, 1953, to dad Jerome and mom Marian Lenzen.
