    A new custom mobile food pantry designed and built by Adams Industries was unveiled Tuesday morning, and the trailer not only impressed with its mission, but with the clever engineering and functionality that is sure to help Nebraskans in need.     Sidney resident Betty Peetz celebrated her 100th birthday on Monday, November 28, 2022 at the Sidney Regional Medical Center Extended Care Facility. Surrounded by family, friends and well wishers, Betty recounted how she was born and raised in Gurley, then moved to Sidney and farmed with her husband for many years, who passed away at 69 years old.   • Sidney Elks Lodge 1894 Receives Six-figure Grant

    The Elks Lodge building has been a cornerstone of Sidney, Nebraska since it was commissioned in 1929 to be the city auditorium, city offices and event center. Legendary entertainers such as Duke Ellington, Lawrence Welk and the Ted Williams Band featuring Perry Como have all performed there over the years.
