    First United Methodist Church's Gloribells have been a seasonal staple in the Sidney community for many years. Under the direction Marva Schiessler, the 11 members that make up the Gloribells gathered for their final rehearsal before Sunday's concert.     Violet Jeanette Kurz was born in Sidney, raised in the Lorenzo area and graduated from Sidney High School. She married Howard Kurz in 1946. They had four children; Calvin, Kenneth, Phillip and Yalaunda. She always enjoyed her family. Vi, as all her many friends and relatives called her, was an active partner in the family farming business. Kurz Combining was started in 1949.
