MITCHELL – Sidney High School’s boys basketball team gave up a few big shots early Saturday afternoon at Mitchell, but as the game progressed, the Raiders hit several themselves.
Nailing nine 3-point shots and improving defensively over the final three periods, Erik Kohl’s Raiders improved to 14-7 with an easy 74-42 win.
“Mitchell hit us in the mouth early,” Kohl said. “They hit some big shots in the first quarter, but as the game went along we got better. We set a goal of multiple quarters of allowing 10 points or less a quarter, and we did that in three of the four quarters.�...
