Roscoe W. Bills, 93, died on Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Good Samaritan Health Care Center.

He was born on March 24, 1920, in a sod house of a farm near Lodgepole, to Charles and Ruth (Werhan) Bills. Roscoe graduated from Lodgepole High School and Hastings Business College.

On April 4, 1941 he was united in marriage to Elna M. Wightman in Hastings.

Roscoe proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII in both the European and Pacific Theatres. Following his discharge he returned to Hastings and learned the flooring trade. He then returned to Lodgepole and operate...
