NSAA rules will keep Blauert off Sidney's district roster

Sidney sophomore Rachel Blauert learned last week that she will not be eligible to participate in the Class B District 4 Golf Tournament today.

Since Blauert has been taking part in both varisty and junior varsity matches this season, she ended up playing in more matches than allowed under NSAA rules.

The NSAA publication "Boys and Girls Golf Manual" states, "participation in interschool golf competition by any school student shall be limited to 12 meets. No more than nine of the 12 meets can involve more than four teams."
