Sidney plans Saturday send off for golf squad

For the seventh time in the last eight years the Sidney Red Raiders girls golf team has qualified for the Class B Nebraska State Championship.

The community will give the Raiders a proper send off as they depart from the high school parking lot on Saturday morning. The team, families and anyone else who would like to attend will gather at 10 a.m. With a police escort the team plans to begin their journey to Lincoln at 10:30 a.m. for the two-day event.
