Miller named Ak-Sar-Ben Heartland Princess

The Ak-Sar-Ben Coronation and Scholarship Ball Committee announced that Ali Miller of Sidney was named as a 2013 Heartland Princess. The ball was held on Saturday, Oct. 19 in Omaha at the CenturyLink Center.

Miller is currently a senior at Doane College, where she is majoring in Art, with minors in Spanish and Creative Writing. She is a member of the Doane Tiger Dance Team and President of Phi Sigma Tau sorority.

Miller graduated from Sidney High School in 2010. At SHS, she participated on the dance team, the girls golf team, the art club and other organizations.

She is the daughter of Randy and Tracy Miller of Sidney and the granddaughter of Kenneth and Frances Miller of Dalton, Paul and Janis Roberts of Sidney and the late Conrad Ribera of Sidney.
