Around Town: Local illustrator, Nebraska storyteller to hold book signing

Ethan Nelson was born to sketch and to paint.

Well, perhaps not literally-though the Dalton native did win a prize in the Nebraska Fence Post Christmas Art Contest in 2002, when Nelson was just five years old.

Meanwhile Charlotte Endorf lives to tell stories from this state's past. Decked in period costume, she often appears before captivated crowds reliving the pioneer days, the travails of those plodding along the Oregon Trail or life in a slumping sod house on the plains.
