Community center receives donation

Western Resources Group of Ogallala, Neb. and US Recycling of Sidney have designated the Cheyenne County Community Center Foundation a recipient of a $50,000 donation in support of their mission and vision statements for the future financial support of the Community Center.

The Cheyenne County Community Center Foundation, Inc. provides financial support to the Community Center. With that support, the Community Center has become a centerpiece of the community. Thousands of people use the Center each year, proving that the foundation is making a difference.

The Board of Directors thanks Western Resources Group, Inc. for their support of the foundation's mission of serving the health, wellness, educational, recreational and social needs of the Cheyenne County area, as well as helping to fulfill the foundation's vision to enhance the overall quality of life through wellness, stewardship and anticipation of future needs.

Western Resources Group was represented by board member, Keith Nienhueser, US Recycling by manager Garth Ferris and Cheyenne County Community Center Foundation by president, Dianne Dorwart.
