Veterans Day

Colonel Greg Glover spoke during a Veteran's Day assembly at West Elementary School on Monday morning.

"I'm looking for two things: to instill what Veteran's Day is about and to provide the kids with the opportunity to ask questions because they're not often provided with that venue," Col. Glover said.

Col. Glover started out as a pilot, but has since switched to working with space operations. He gave the assembly a brief rundown of his job in the service and the purpose of the military as a whole, all while encouraging them to thank veterans outside of Veteran's Day.
