Margaret M. 'Peg' Peetz, age 86 of Sidney, passed away at the Sidney Regional Medical Center Extended Care, Tuesday morning, Dec. 3, 2013.

Wake Services will be held at 7 p.m., Friday evening, Dec. 6th with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., Sat., Dec. 7th. Both services will be in the St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Art Faesser officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Friday from 1p.m to 5 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made in Peg's name to SRMC Extended Care, St. Patrick's or SRMC Hospice.

Margaret M. Peetz, the daughter of Jason and Olive (Elbert) Dorwart, was born on Aug. 24, 1927 at Lawrence, Neb. Peg graduated as Valedictorian of her class at St. Patrick's High School in North Platte before working at a bank in North Platte.

On Dec. 27, 1951, Peg was united in marriage to Kenneth J. Peetz at North Platte and moved to the Peetz family farm at Sidney.

Peg was a involved in her church, serving on the Altar Society, was a founding member of W.I.F.E. (Women Involved In Farm Economics), enjoyed cooking and was dedicated to being a farm wife and mother.

Survivors include (1) daughter: Suzanne Conrad and husband Paul of Sidney and their children, Anthony, Brittany and Courtney; (2) sons: Dan and wife Patty of Elkhorn, Neb. and their children, Phillip and Anne and Tim and wife Julia of Sidney and their children, David and wife Kyle, Ben and Adam and wife Sabra; (3) brothers: J.D. Dorwart and wife Mary of Greeley, Colo., Clint Dorwart and wife Carol of Albuquerque, N.M. and Jerry Dorwart and wife Faye of Ft. Collins and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Peg was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, (1) son: Philip, (1) sister: Patricia Dellenbach, her parents Jason and Olive Dorwart, her parents-in-law, John and Clara Peetz and numerous extended family members.
