Central students use technology in unique pen pal program

On Wednesday, Judy Roach's fourth grade class at Central Elementary School met up with their pen pal, face to face.

Well, sort of. Roach's class participates in the Nebraska Ag in the Classroom's Ag Pen Pal Program, which has advanced beyond the old method of communication.

Roach's classroom was paired up with Jeff Huffman, a farmer in Maxwell. Huffman and Roach used technology to update the notion of pen pals.
