Frances Beyer passed away Jan. 8, 2014 at Larchwood Inns, Grand Junction, Colo., she was 93.

Rosary Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wed., Jan. 15th in the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel with Father Art Faesser officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Tuesday from 1 to 7 p.m.

Frances was born on March 9, 1920 in Sidney, from the union of Frank and Mary Clinton. She spent her childhood in Sidney and graduated from Sidney High School. After High School Frances worked as a telephone operator. She married Bernard Beyer in Sidney on Nov. 27, 1946; he preceded her in death on March 16, 1993 in Ft Collins, Colo.

Frances and Bernard were cattle dairy farmers from 1946 to 1969 and Frances later did housekeeping for the Poudre Valley Hospital in Ft. Collins. She was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed cross-stitching, craft, going to the mall to watch the shoppers or sitting down with a good mystery novel.

Frances leaves behind two sons; David (Kathy) and Christopher Beyer of Grand Junction, a daughter; Kathleen Fuehrer of Laguna Woods, Calif., a sister; Geraldine Lewis of Denver, seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son; Kenneth Beyer, and siblings; Virginia, Larry and Freddy.
