Warriors pound Hay Springs

 


The Leyton boys basketball team had little trouble with the Hay Springs Hawks as the Warriors trounced their hosts 63-22 on Saturday.

The win keeps the Warriors perfect on the road at 4-0 while they upped their overall mark to 6-2. The Hawks have struggled to an 0-10 record so far this season.

Cody McKay led four Leyton players in scoring with 19 points. The other double fugure scorers were Alex W. Frerichs and Brennen Cruise with 11 each and Dylan Brenner with 10.
