Participants in Knights of Columbus District Free Throw Contest which was held at Sidney Middle School this past Sunday.
Five girls and four boys will advance to the Knights of Columbus District Free Throw Contest after winning the local Council #1861 competition on Sunday at Sidney Middle School.
Those that qualified for districts include Ella Ningen (9-year-old girls), Jaeden Dillehay (9-year old boys), Brynna Ross (10-year-old girls), Trey Douglas (10-year-old boys), Kendra Nesbitt (11-year-old girls), Sam Hashman (11-year-old boys), Meaghan Ross (12-year-old girls), Makenna Douglas (13-year-old girls) and Arik Doty (13-year-old boys).
A total of 19 participants, including 10 girls and nine boys, competed in the contest. The District Contest will be held in February at a date and site to be determined.
