Locals finish third in APA tournament

Nate Bartling from Potter and Justin Butts from Sidney came up just short of advancing to the American Poolplayers Association’s (APA) 8-Ball Doubles National Championship. The pair fell in the semi-finals of the 8-Ball Doubles tournament held recently in Sutherland to finish in third place.

Doubles teams that advanced to the national championship tournament in Las Vegas will compete for $38,000 in total prize money.

Bartling and Butts earned a small cash award for their top three effort.
