The following people appeared in Deuel County District Court on Tuesday, Feb. 11, before the Honorable Derek Weimer:

Kristie Keenan, age 30 of Dalton, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of Extortion, a class III felony. Her pre-trial conference and plea deadline is scheduled for May 13 at 9:30 a.m. A jury Trial is scheduled for May 27-29.

Roger Stuart age 61 of Potter, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of Delivery of Oxycodone. This is a class III felony. His status hearing has been scheduled for March 5 at 10 a.m.

Tina Sifuentez age 44 of Lodgepole, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of Possession of Meth, a class IV Felony. A status hearing has been scheduled for Feb. 27 at 10 a.m.

Corbin Coomes, age 23 of Sidney, appeared for a pre-trial conference on a charge of Distribution of Marijuana in a School Zone. This is considered a class ID felony. A status hearing has been scheduled for March 11 at 10:30 a.m.

Shawn Nettles, age 30 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of Distribution of Marijuana, a class III felony. He pled no contest to an amended charge of Attempted Distribution of Marijuana, which is a class IV felony. Sentencing has been scheduled for April 2 at 10:30 a.m.

Douglas Wiese, age 45 of Des Moines, Iowa, appeared for arraignment on a charge of Strangulation and Terroristic Threats. Both are class IV felonies. A status hearing scheduled for Feb. 19 at 8:30 a.m.

Kenneth Turner, age 24 of Finleyville, Penna., appeared for a status hearing on a charge of Possession of Hash with Intent, Possession of Marijuana with Intent, Possession of Marijuana over 1 lb, Possession of Hash and No drug Tax Stamps. These are class III, III, IV, IV, IV felonies, respectively. His status hearing is scheduled for April 2 at 10 a.m.

Gabriel Nowak, age 31 of Finleyville, Penna., appeared for a status hearing on the same charges as above. His status hearing is also scheduled for April 2 at 10 a.m.

Kameron Walker, age 20, formerly of Sidney, (now of Arkansas) appeared for arraignment on two charges of Distribution of Hydrocodone and one of Distribution of Marijuana. All are class III felonies. A status hearing scheduled for March 11 at 9:30 a.m.

Jennifer Cartwright, age 31 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine. This is a class IV felony. Her status hearing has been scheduled for March 11 at 9 a.m.

Christopher Nielsen, age 36 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of Strangulation, a class IV felony. A jury trial has been scheduled for May 19-20. The pre-trial conference is May 7 at 9 a.m.

Louis Smith, age 33 of St. Louis, Mo., appeared for arraignment on charges of Possession of Marijuana with Intent, Possession of Marijuana over 1 lb. and No Drug Tax Stamps. These are class III, IV and IV felonies, respectively. A status hearing is set, to be held in Cheyenne County, on Feb. 19 at 8:30 a.m.

Herman Chairse, age 33 of St. Louis, Mo, appeared for arraignment on the same charges as above, with a status hearing to be held at the same place and time.

Jeff Baldridge, age 51 of Chappell, appeared for arraignment on a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine. This is considered a class IV felony. His status hearing is scheduled for March 11 at 10 a.m. in Cheyenne County.

The following person appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Tuesday, Feb. 11, before the Honorable Randin Roland:

Lonny Buttle, age 47 of Dalton, appeared for arraignment on a charge of DUI 1st Offense and Possession of Marijuana over 1 oz and less than 1 lb. These represent class W and III misdemeanors, respectively. He asked for counsel. Entry of plea is scheduled for Feb. 24 at 9 a.m.
