As they did in their first meeting with Bayard on Dec. 6, the Warriors used a second-quarter push to quiet the Tigers, 48-41, in non-district boys basketball action Tuesday night.
With just three games to go before the start of the post season the Warriors record advanced to 14-4. Their district mark holds at 7-1, with the only blemish a loss to Minatare on the last day of January. Since the setback, however, the Warriors have strung together four consecutive wins.
Bayard's season mark slipped to 7-12.
