Sidney High Grads excel in track

Two Sidney High School graduates were place winners for the Chadron State College track and field team last weekend at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Adams State at Alamosa, Colo.

Senior Brandon Segelke was second in the 200-meter dash in 22.18 seconds and sophomore Barrett Browne was sixth in the long jump at 22-5 ¾  (three-fourths if the fraction doesn't come through).

Both marks were career bests indoors and Segelke's time ranks  ninth on the Eagles' all-time list. The Chadron State men scored 135 points and finished second in the team standings.
