The following people appeared in Deuel County District Court on Tuesday, March 18, before the Honorable Randin Roland.

Jacob Weir, age 19 of Steamboat Springs, Colo., appeared for a status hearing on a charge of Possession of Marijuana with Intent, Possession of Hash with Intent, Possession of Marijuana over 1 pound, Possession of Hash and No Tax Stamps. Those are class III, III, IV, IV, IV felonies, respectively. He retained an attorney. He waived his preliminary hearing. Arraignment is scheduled for April 7 at 1:30 p.m.

Levi Queen, age 33 of Big Springs, appeared for presentment on a charge of Possesion of Marijuana with Intent, Poss of Marijuana over 1 pound, and No Drug Tax Stamps. The charges are class III, IV and IV felonies, respectively. He requested counsel. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for March 25 at 10:15 a.m.
