Potter-Dix leads class D schools at outdoor opener

Strong individual performances and beautiful weather highlighted the Red Raider Invitational Track Meet on Saturday as a large contingent of schools from three classes descended on Weymouth Field at Sidney High School.
Four local schools competed in the event with Class D schools Creek Valley, Leyton and Potter-Dix joining Class B host Sidney. In the girls team competition Gothenburg came out on top with 154 points while Ogallala was runnerup with 116.
