Cookies that count

For The Sun-Telegraph

Girl Scout Troop 10109 presented cookies to Laura Jelinek of Cheyenne County CASA at their Tuesday, April 22 meeting. The Girl Scout cookie program includes the "Gift of Sharing" portion, where customers pay for the cookies and the troop finds a way to donate them. The 4th grade troop from Sidney wanted to donate their Gift of Sharing boxes to organizations that help kids in need and decided to sell for the kids serviced by CASA. Cheyenne County CASA advocates for abused and neglected children. They appreciated the donation, and anything that is done with the children in mind. Kneeling L-R: Kaitlyn Pile, Alecca Campbell, Cierra Grund Standing L-R: Natalie Stokes, Madison Mashek, Madison Frerichs, Karalyn Stevens, Laura Jelinek, Grace Michelman, Karlee Jones
