With a quiet breeze and warm temperatures it was the perfect day for golf as the Creek Valley Storm held their annual Boys Invite at Chappell Golf Course Tuesday.
By winning a one-hole playoff Lane Godfrey secured a second-place individual medal for the host Storm, while the team finished fifth among the 10 varsity squads competing.
By putting three players in the top five, Bayard took the top-team prize with a total of 324 strokes. Perkins County (340) and Chase County (364) completed the top three.
Creek Valley's total stood at 371.
