Court Briefs 05-13-14

The following people appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Monday, May 12, before the Honorable Randin Roland:

Jose Perez age 34 of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of DUI 1st High Test, a class W misdemeanor. He pled guilty to DUI 1st High. He received 9 months probation and a $500 fine.

Jose Rios, age 23 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of DUI 1st High Test, Obstruction, DUS and Reckless Driving. These are class W, I, III and III misdemeanors, respectively. Pursuant to a plea agreement he pled guilty to DUI 1st High and Reckless Driving, class W and III misdemeanors. He received a $850 fine and costs plus 12 months probation.

Jason Assad, age 34 of Sidney, appeared for presentment on a charge of Terroristic Threats, a class IV felony. He appeared with counsel. A preliminary hearing is set for May 16 at 2:30 p.m.
