A Night of Hope Walk for Cancer holds its regular monthly meetings on the third Tuesdays of every month from April to August. This month’s meeting will be on Tues. May 20th at 5:30pm at the Dorwart Cancer Center located at 830 Pine Street in Sidney. Anyone interested in helping organize or volunteering to help with this year’s event is invited to attend. Memorial Day Service 2014

May 26th at 10 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Sidney. Program presented V.F.W. Post 610. Assisted by Disabled American Veterans Chapter 40 and American Legion Post 17

The Lodgepole American Legion will present a Memorial Day program at the Pleasant View Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Mon., May 26th.

Weyerts Immanuel Lutheran Church will hold Memorial Day Service at 10 a.m. on Mon., May 26. A fellowship hour will follow the service.

American Legion Memorial Day Ceremony, Mon., May 26th, 10:30 a.m. - Held by the American Legion in Dalton at the Dalton Cemetery. Following the ceremony, the American Legion Auxiliary will hold a potluck lunch at the Legion Hall in Dalton, please bring a dish to share.

Cheyenne County Gold Rush After Dark 5K on June 13 - Registration will begin at 7 p.m. and races will begin on time with the first one being at 8:05. Register at the Cheyenne County Chamber of Commerce or at the Community Center

19th Annual John Wright Memorial Strawberry Moon Golf Tournament

Prairie Pines Golf Course in Potter. The 14 team, 4 person scramble will tee off at 3 p.m. for daylight round, break for a meal, then golf the second round at dusk with glow balls.
