Five added to Sidney's state track roster

The Nebraska School Activities Association added five Raiders to the state track and field roster based upon times in last week’s district meet.

Thanks to the wild card entries, Sidney is now sending 20 scholar-athletes to Omaha.

In addition, the NSAA qualified five on the original state roster for extra events.

The new participants are Genessa Schilz, who qualified for a spot in the 400 meter dash thanks to her run of 1:03.16 in districts; Emily Mika, Gabbie Addleman and Abby Heller, who join qualifier Sara VonSeggern in the 4x100 relay; and Abbie Fraas, teaming with Heller and previous...
