Bad person Calamity Jane--the e is silent--played by Anna Steele and deputy Dudley Doowrong (Drew Enevoldsen) face off, with cold hearted banker Rich Coldheart (Sam Bogert) stuck in the middle.

At first all seems calm and mild in the old western town of Low Humidity Chasm, which one must assume is down the line from Dry Gulch. The only speck of trouble is of a personal nature-the devious banker Rich Coldheart will foreclose on a family farm unless, of course, sweet Polly Wanda Cracker agrees to marry him.

Thus begins this weekend's Potter melodrama, "How the West was Dun," which plays out on June 26-28 at the community's Legion Hall.
