Recital this Sunday

In collaboration with pianist Ann Cramer, Aaron Woodman, oboe, will present a recital of varied repertoire.

The program, featuring works by Vincent, Paladilhe, Krenek, and Daelli, covers music written from the eighteenth century all the way to the twentieth. Works include both pieces for oboe and piano as well as solo oboe. Woodman, a former Chappell resident, has been an active performer in the Lincoln and Omaha areas. Having played with organizations like the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra, Omaha Symphony, and Opera Omaha, this recital is the fourth public solo recital Aaron has given. In the fall, Woodman will begin his Master of Music degree at Michigan State University studying under professor Jan Eberle.

The recital, through generous community support, will be presented on Sunday, June 29th at 4:00 p.m. in the Sidney Public High School Fine Arts Auditorium. Admission is free.
