Three local teams advance to APA championships

Several local pool players were awarded cash and trophies recently for winning the Spring Session of the American Poolplayers Association 8-Ball, 9-Ball and Masters Pool Leagues.

Winning the Tuesday 8-Ball title was Harvey Loyals from Harvey's in Sidney, a team consisting of including Corey Wintholz, Terri Bickford, Bob Jones, Scott Padilla, Justin Butts, Misty Uribe and Nate Bartling. 

Top Gun awards went to Steve Nettles and Anne Sterling.

MVP awards went to Steve Nettles, Ethan Kraus, Anne Sterling and Judy Morrison.

Winning the Sunday 9-Ball title was Jimmy's in Sidney including James Cumbie, Harley Booth, Ashley Shimek, Todd Foster and Bridgett Houk. 

Top Gun awards went to Rick Strack and Bridgett Houk.

MVP awards went to Rick Strack, Howie Manchester and Ismael Flores.

Winning the Monday Masters title was Ozzy's Ride from Silver Dollar in Sidney including Tom House, Trent Glanz, Steve Nettles and James Cumbie.

Winning teams each session advance to the Western Nebraska APA Team Championships to compete for trips to the APA National Team Championships in Las Vegas
