Leyton Tailgate Party to be held Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 6 p.m. at the Dalton football field. All Leyton patrons and community members are invited to attend.

The Sidney AWANA Clubs will be starting a new year this Tuesday, Aug. 26. It’s a great time for kids to play games, make friends and learn about the Bible. Registration is from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. at the Evangelical Free Church, 2763 11th Ave. for boys and girls from pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade. Opening night will be Sept. 10 from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. AWANA will take place every Wednesday throughout the school year. VA Director to Hold a Sidney Town Hall Meeting - Cheyenne Veterans Affairs Medical Center Director, Dr. Cynthia McCormack will hold a Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, Aug. 28, beginning at 9:30 a.m. The town hall meeting will provide an open forum to all veterans, their families and the community to voice their opinions and concerns regarding the Sidney, Neb. Veterans Affairs Multi-Specialty Outpatient Clinic.
