The city of Sidney will be observing the Columbus Day holiday on Monday, Oct. 13. All city departments will be closed.
The library and landfill will be closed, and public transportation buses will not be running.
Trash collection normally scheduled for Monday will be picked up on Tuesday, while Tuesday’s scheduled trash will be picked up Wednesday.
Normal city hours will resume on Tuesday.
Sidney school district will be in session.
