Sidney dominates final home meet, confident for districts

The Sidney High varsity cross county teams dominated Hillside Golf Course on a cloudy and chilly Thursday afternoon at the Sidney Conference Invite – the team's final regular-season meet of the year.

The varsity boys posted a phenomenal score of 12, as it placed four of its runners in the top six. The girls registered an even better 10, as it swept the top five spots.

Seniors Hayden Lieneman, Jachob Wiedeburg and Brody McKnight placed first, second and third overall with times of 17:29, 17:34 and 17:54 respectively. Lieneman and McKnight set season-best times for the race. Wiedeburg mi...
