Ice cream social held at nursing home

Wheat Belt Public Power District sponsored an ice cream social at Sidney Regional Nursing Home on Oct. 14.

The stop was one of several as part of the October celebration. Choosing to honor former customers and friends living in area nursing homes and assisted living centers with an ice cream social has been well received the past several years.

Entertainment was provided by local groups. Lauri Beach provided a sing-a-long with the residents and the fun was enjoyed by all. While she entertained the residents and got them involved, everyone was treated to cookies and ice cream sundaes with their choice of toppings.
