Whether intelligent life exists in other places in the universe, and what the search for that life is revealing, will be discussed at Lifetree Café on Nov. 12th at 7 p.m. Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Sullivan Hills will host a Business After Hours at Buffalo Point Steak House on Nov. 13th from 5-7 p.m. Appetizers and drinks will be offered. Everyone is welcome to come out and see what they are all about!

Friday, Nov. 14

Pair-N-Half-A-Pair Square Dance Club will have a 50’s Dance with Lucky calling at the IOOF Hall in Gering from 7 to 9 p.m. PLUS dancing will be from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Snack afterward.

Sidney’s Got Heart

Benefit for Paige Fiebig: Talent contest, Dinner and Auction

The Panhandle Quilt Guild will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 515 Emerson in Alliance on Nov. 15, 2014. Coffee is at 9 a.m. It will be a pot-luck Holiday celebration. Table topic will be “If I could have the perfect Christmas, it would be…..” Bring homemade pin-cushions for exchange.

Sidney Elks Lodge Annual Thanksgiving Dinner

on Nov. 16th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Open to Elks Members and D.O.E.S. and their family & guests. Bring a dish and a dessert; main course furnished free!

Tuesday, Nov. 18

American National Bank will host a Business After Hours to appreciate the local teachers in the area at the Hillside Grill from 5:30-7 p.m. Appetizers and drinks will be offered and they will give out door prizes. Everyone is welcome to come!

“A Night at the Races” will be held Nov. 21st at 6 p.m. at Hillside Golf Course. Six races, dessert auction, 50/50 raffle, complimentary appetizers and cash bar.
