Financial aid program planned for Creek Valley H.S.

A financial aid program will be held in the distance-learning lab at Creek Valley High School on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 5 p.m.

A professional from the EducationQuest Foundation will be discussing how to fill out the free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is the form all colleges require of the student before they are eligible to receive any financial assistance.

All parents/guardians of a senior or junior student are invited to attend. The FAFSA needs to be filled out as soon as you complete your 2014 income tax return.

Many college applications need to be mailed no latter than Jan. 15 for your student to be eligible for that particular college’s scholarships. Check this date with the college.
