Santa's Helpers Program

Julie Johnson, Karen Trussell and Steph Mantooth are pictured with some of the toys received from customer donations of a toy in exchange for a 4x6 photo of the customers in their Halloween costumes from Steph's Studio. The toys were donated to the Santa's Helpers Program in Alliance – a project put on by the Alliance Jills Women of Today. It gives underprivileged children in Box Butte County, ages 4-11, an opportunity to select a gift for every member of their family, as well as a toy for themselves. More than 316 toys were collected for the program with this year's Halloween Toy exchange at the studio. Additionally, more than 250 toys were donated by community members. Pat Nelson brought in multiple sacks of more than 200 stuffed bears and another person brought in three sacks of toys.
