Sidney dog licenses now available for 2015

 


The City of Sidney dog tags for the year 2015 have arrive and are being issued to all pet owners.

The tags are at the Sidney Police Department at 1715 Illinois St. Owners must bring a certificate of current rabies vaccination for each dog or a license will not be issued.

The fee for an intact female is $11. The fee for an intact male is $6. Altered females, males and puppies younger than 6 months are no charge.

According to city ordinances #618.07, starting March 1, 2015, intact females will be $16, intact males will be $11, altered females, males and puppies, 6 months and older, will be $6.

The hours for licensing dogs are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

All 2014 tags will expire December 31, 2014. All dogs inside city limits must be licensed for 2015.
