First place: Brian and Julie Slagle, 2040 Elm St.
Sidney's Brian and Julie Slagle won first place this year in the annual "House Lighting" contest sponsored by the Cheyenne County Visitors Committee.
The Slagles, whose house is located at 2040 Elm St., won $100.
Second place went to John Hanley and Kandace Conroy at 2214 13th Ave. They won $75.
Burt and Rachel Abrams at 1555 Greenwood Road collected third place and $50.
The "Griswold Award" – named after the family in the movie, "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" – went to Ron and Brenda Jessen at 2455 Deaver Drive. They won $100.
